Therapist – Auderghem – Marie Joe Kfoury

During my university years, I dedicated time to explore the human mind and its influences. My academic journey led me to attain a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Grenoble Alpes, providing me with a strong foundation in clinical psychology and research. Additionally, I chose to embrace new challenges by pursuing a Ph.D. in Belgium, under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program of the European Union. As I approach the end of my doctoral studies, I feel enthusiastic about embarking on my career as a licensed psychotherapist.

As a member of the Francophone Association of Person-Centered Psychotherapy (AFPC), I am committed to adhering to rigorous ethical and professional standards. As a psychologist in Brussels, specifically located in Auderghem, I offer psychotherapies tailored to a wide range of issues, drawing inspiration from Carl Rogers’ person-centered approach as well as neuroscience. Through my practice of active listening and empathy, I explore my clients’ thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment. I specialize in treating difficulties such as sadness, anxiety, lack of confidence, depression, burnout, insomnia and sleep disorders, trauma and abuse, separation and grief, couples therapy, and much more. Additionally, I offer sessions in French, English, and Arabic.

I firmly believe that every individual deserves mental health support. That’s why I am committed to eliminating barriers to make psychotherapy accessible to anyone seeking to enhance their personal well-being.
